FLOR-EN® Adults is a probiotic food supplement tailored to address intestinal dysbiosis and altered intestinal permeability. This is achieved through 3 specific strains offering a comprehensive approach: Lactiplantibacillus plantarum LP01 and Lactobacillus delbrueckii LDD01, which exert strong direct inhibition against various biotypes of E. coli, attributed to genes coding for bacteriocins [1]. LP01 has been shown to fully restore and protect intestinal barrier function following an inflammatory insult, and to exert potent anti-inflammatory effects beneficial in combating gut inflammation [2]. FLOR-EN® Adults has undergone clinical studies involving over 7000 adults suffering from intestinal disorders, or those undergoing bowel preparation or abdominal surgery. A 4-week treatment with FLOR-EN® Adults effectively alleviated common digestive complaints, including abdominal pain, bloating, flatulence, and borborygmi [3-5].
